    +Derek Thorson Dec 9, 2012 +14 you guys need to tighten up this game. Letting people run versions other than the current version will #ingressdoom this game. Either through #sideloading or just not updating your app, it's easy to avoid updates to the game that fix bugs and #ingressexploits. I haven't checked 1.08.1 yet (only just loaded it), but with 1.08 it was still possible to use the #tradesecret #multi-hack trick . I saw a post by someone over on #DecodingIngress +Decoding Ingress that they got a version check message in game with 1.08.1, but I never received such a message using 1.08, which tells me it's not server-side...or just hasn't rolled out to all servers. This needs to be a priority otherwise people will just exploit their little hearts out until they're actually forced to upgrade. goto gethub #ingressplay{1-9}
